Today is the beginning of The House. The birthday of the new fashion brand in which customization is the new appeal of current environment. In this blog, modern marketing technique will be compare with traditional marketing technique. Alfie which is myself will share with readers how this business is started from nothing to the NEXT BIG THING in this industry.
THE BUSINESS
Name: The House
This business is a customization based company, targeting Singaporeans who want to wear 'in fashion' and a class of its own. In short this is a tailoring services, with a low cost start up which is actually nothing not even a store front or website just a blog. Having startup capital of only S$1500 in the bank. Sounds like budget carrier in the aircraft industry. Indeed, this is a budget carrier for the fashion industry.
Targeting the male fashion wear as my initial strategy. The reason being that female market is too competitive and ladies can buy very cheap formal attire easily from the departmental stores. It is to my interest that I will target the female sector in future once I get enough goodwill and patronage from the male sector. In view of that, the ladies brand name will be The House Of Ladies.
MALE tailoring services are what I am going to target. To enhance my company name and image, I decided to give another name under THE HOUSE.
Final Branding Name: The House Of Gentleman
Slogan : Specially Gentleman
Mission: Our mission is to serve customers who want to dress fashionably, affordable and the fit between dressing to their right size. Making tailoring affordable to the main public.
Target Market: Male Age 18 to 35
Income level: 2000 and above
Estimated % against Total Population: 25%
