The buttons that I use are exclusive shell button which are more durable and more costly than normal buttons. Normal button are thinner and lighter, they might crack with strong force applied to it (Thailand tailored shirt uses the cheaper ones, if you have done so check for yourself). You can find similar buttons which I am using at branded outlets.

If you take a closer look, the other side of the button is a white surface and thats the shell.
