The Place I Am

3mths.. and still going working at credit suisse. Its amazing the way i got this job, I have no idea why i landed in this banking operations job. I jus needed a job to boost income into THE HOUSE.

Thanx to Mr Jeremy Yeo a client of mine as well who recommended me into this line. Its a gd employee working environment so far, beside the long workin hrs which i hated. Well, I tend to forget abt the long working hrs when it reaches the 24th of each mth.. PAY DAY!!

Mr Ray posted this question in the CBOX tag, I shall post it here.
RAY:hi..do u do the sewing yourself or outsourced?

ALFIE: hi Ray, no i don't... tats the norm among all tailors.

When did u see Mr Calvin Klein sewing his brand of shirts, pants or whatever.... ??
When did u see those tailors in lucky plaza, pennisula plaza or tailors in the CBD areas sewing their shirts and pants? They outsourced obviously.. to who? Thats a secret only people in this industry will know.

Imagine a big hotel chain find Mr X tailor to make 100 uniform for them. or say SAF no. 3 uniform. They need to outsourced, cos every tailor is a human, they need to sleep eat and have sexual lives. To sew every piece ?? tats insane

If one wanna grow his business BIG he need to have his own factory just like branded boutique. U will never grow BIG if u wanna do everything yrself. This logic goes for resturant or kopitiam stall owners. They do everything themselves will they have several outlets? thats where MacDonaldlization comes in.. or say delayering of work processes.

lol.. i hope this explain enough

Utimately, its the fabric one is going for after u get the correct measurement and "fit".
