Been to alot of places lately.. Knowing that gd packaging helps carry the brand name and image well, I decided to make an effort in looking for more ideas that will improve in the final product packaging.
Sooooo, I went to alot of manufacturing companies to give myself more ideas... From button companies .. stickers.. to labelling companies... (yea ... I might not use them all now but for future I might ... )

Employers Vs Employees

Fact: Most people in the world ended up being an employee. Employers hold the ultimate responsibilities in keeping the rest of the people surviving.

Everyone have choices.. What they want to be and what their dreams are…

Obviously, highly educated people and the talented students have always been sought after since high school or sec school days. To me they are known as the future employees of the big companies. To say the fact, the methods big companies use are like mobile phone deals contract tat comes along with strict contractual agreement. Once you have signed with them, lucrative salary is awaiting for you once u graduated. The strings attached ??? freedom to what your dreams really are…

Life as an Employee
Everyone of us have been an employee in our life. My first work experience comes from the famous fast-food chain McDonald. At that time, I jus reached the legal age of working (14 yrs old) and getting paid at S$4.50 an hour. My cousin was the one that brought me along with her as she wanna try her first time. Yeah…we were both virgin at that time we started our first time together.. WORKING la..what are u thinking… (wasted no ang bao)

Back to my topic.. Employee
-Getting stable pay as long you work
-Freedom to quit and join other companies when they pay much more (unless you are on contractual agreement)
-Pay is being restricted by employer
-You never earn as much as employer
-You never will be employed forever
-You enjoy the ride of economy growth and threats when fall
-You are not much different like a maid but treated as a high class maid, cos u still get scolded by your boss and customers
-Fear of getting retrenched if you fail to perform
-Can chao geng take MC, steal office stationary home and wayang or act blur @work
-Get to go for business overseas trip and find a way to date overseas ang mo.. haha

Overall, employees are still better off, cos you don't have much to worry about as compared to an employer.. Well you might disagree but after you read the employer section you might understand more.

Employers are known as the entrepreneur or risk taker. Their responsibility lies in leading the company and ensuring the business survive in whatever conditions.

I believe that being an employer u hold more responsibilities than what is really taught in books and in lectures. In view of employees, employers need to show care and concern to their employees. Understanding what’s wrong with them, motivating them, leading them, giving them the morale boost when things are going wrong. Seeing them being happy coming to work and sharing with you their families matters. Most importantly being part of the big family.
Further to that, ensuring business are on track as planned, earning enough profits that the business survive and able to pay their employees on time. Giving them their well deserved bonus and seeing them able to reach the Singapore 5C standard… All these are what a true boss is.

During my competition days in aussie (will elaborate in another blog entry), I was asked this question. What makes a successful company?
A successful company is one that most or close to 90% of its employees are happy working in there. A good example is to ask the toilet cleaner in a big companies if he or she is happy working in this company. Or getting someone in the lower management level .. Let’s say security officer.

If these small players can feel satisfied and happy working in this company.. To me this company is already a successful company. .....Why??
Big companies tend to forget about these small roles that these employees play during their service in the organizations. So how can a --So called successful company forget about them? What makes them different compared to the rest of the employees? Just that their educational level doesn’t qualify them to better jobs doesn’t mean we have to forget about them…

Back to Employers
-They control their company future
-They earn more then employers and get none if business fails
-They have to ensure that business survive
-They know they can’t fail else their employees will be jobless, and their family will get broke
-They decide who they want to retrench or fire
-They have to uphold their morals in business dealings
-They have to keep up with changes and organisations that fail to change from time to time will suffer.
-If they can’t be a good leader, strategic thinker and manager the business is going to suffer

-Failure to business can lead to mental pressure .. mayb bcum mad.. or change to another siao lang

a) If I provide my own design can you do it for me?
Yes, The House can do almost everything u want but right now strictly to shirt making.. So please do not give us stupid stuff and ask us do we do.. like tee shirts or others.. use brain please

b) How long does it take to make a shirt?
Base on my negotiation with my manufacturer the deal is 8 to 14 working days…

c) So long???
Please understand that we are not ‘CK TANG’, ‘Courts’, ‘Myer’ or ‘David Jones’ that can cash and carry we are tailoring to your ‘FIT’ if you need in a hurry we can’t entertain u.. cos we are not ‘Fedex’ or ‘UPS’ we are not express companies

d) How can I place an order?
Well, once we officially start doing business, our sales agent will attend to u like real estate agents they come over to the place of your convenient to customize for u.

e)But I am actually in Overseas?
Not to worry, we will post videos on U-tube that u can follow simple measuring instructions (even dummies can follow).. Once u got your measurement.. email us and we will do the rest.

f) How much does it cost?
Well right now prices start from S$80> for local customers.

g)U charge cheap does that make your brand a very low market?
Well.. as my concept is starting to do for my friends first and learn along the way, therefore I don’t wanna charge very high prices.

h) When are u starting to make ladies shirt?
Not so soon.. it depends on market response..

i) Are you going to do everything by yrself?
No, obviously how can I do business everything by myself. I got help from a lot of people like designer, my siblings, my manufacturer etc

j) How are u actually surviving right now without income?
Digging into my saving Savings lol..

Tall .. to me is just being myself.. 1.87m tall .. haha.. well guys love being tall.. but do u know what is the negative side of being tall... Only tall guys will know!!



In Australia, I did went to aussie pubs occassionally during my study daze..cos there is basically nothing to do in Australia @ night .. Being tall and slim (or skinny) I am always the odd one out in the crowd of asian parties or even among my Singaporean friends. I am always being bothered by questions from other party goers..

1) Hey U seems to come here often..
2) Hows the Party the other time..
3) I seems to see you around..


The fact that Being Tall make u famous even if u don't really want to.. sometimes I just wanna be a low profile guy .. when I need to..


In view of that, the opposite sex thinks that I am a party goers.. flirting around or someone who loves to keep high profile

Innocent Occassion...
On one occassion, I was actually having lunch with this shanghainese chick ..pretty gorgeous looking chick.. She was just my project mate. We were having lunch together cos we were starving after the meeting in the library..

Suddenly .. her bf appeared from no where while we were having lunch. Her bf seeing that we were together made him pissed off! Her gf was at a lost .. 'will my bf b angry at me.. will my bf wanna break up with me'...

In my mind, I was thinking what can I really do to help her.. Nothing !..

How does he look like?Her bf .. look somehow alot smaller than me .. and her.. and jus a simple looking guy on the street.. .. (I wanna post a pic of him.. cos I can't stand guys not being understanding to their gf..)


I learn from this incident..
Never be with someone else gf.. unless both of us are really close friends or her bf knows about it.. (Unless u are shorter than his bf .. dress like a fuck while with her). ..
On the other side.. will u want yr bf to be seeing someone more gorgeous than u .. ..

Utimately, trust is what true love is all about .. Did u really trust yr bf or gf?

I miss those awesome days in Aus.. working seems alot fun than doing your own business. The time pressure to keep on track with what u actually wanted.

Collar headache...

Was doing research on collar.. shirt making stuff.. I know that there are heaps of design and shapes.. what exactly make a collar stands out.. So I check at CYC site & other compeitior sites to get a more indepth understanding of what makes a good collar shirt..

My conclusion is .. collar makes one look good but going for fancy design collar doesn't suits the main public and u can't wear on all occasion if one tailor make a fancy shirt with a fancy collar.. In the end.. is often kept in the wardrobe. Economies of scale........perhaps..

Mayb I will start off providing simple ones .. or standard ones.. then slowly market out the rest of my collar design and style at a later stage...

Whats..2 Ply Cotton or 3 or more Ply..?

U have seen it... touch it.. heard it .. or even wore it..
Whats exactly is fabric or cotton shirts that are single ply ... 2 ply ..3 or 4 ply..?
Do u exactly know whats the different.. beside being heavier or thicker ......

Well I am curious to know more about it hence I am doing kind of research about it.. by asking sales person of leading sales boutique.. In the end, everyone seems unclear about wats the real diff.... the answers they gave was .. more durable.. keep warm.. etc

In short 2 or more ply refers to cotton, thread or fiber materials ( Lets name this X) being twisted together and sew together..

Back to basic.. which I read form Textile Research Journal and wikipedia..

Ply are form by twisting the direction in which the X is spun is called twist. X are characterized as Z-twist or S-twist according to the direction of spinning (see diagram).

Tightness of twist is being use for strength.. ..imagine holding hands with yr steady bf gf..the strength of holding depends on the tightness of gripping and force in holding..

So what is 2 ply or more ply??

Well, basically is more X being twisted together.. or say... u plus yr gf hands and another 3rd party holding hands together... thats make what is call 3 ply Get it..? I might be wrong cos i rely on internet source..

This method is often used to keep colors together on singles dyed in sequential colors. That means more lasting colours as well.. compare to single ply...

Back from Malaysia

Yea I am back from Malaysia after a long journey from Johore -> KL-> Ipoh -> Penang-> Terengganu -> Kuantan in a week. Driving was fun.. and when u speed u are not worried of getting demerit points. No worries.. now back to my usual plan of planning my business and getting a job to finance myself so that I have $.. haha

To My Criticism

I am really surprise today that someone leave a negative remark in my chat box. This chat box remarks did irritate me for a short while.. after getting back to my senses, I did take his remarks as a compliment and encouragement..

a) If I write proper english...

Who on earth write proper english in their blog.. They are not going to print or advertise in the papers.... even my aussie mates sometimes don't even write proper english. Pls don't think all ang mo write proper english.. or all chinese can write good essay.. even taiwanese or hk blog they write their style of chinese.... that is cos u never seen the world..

b) My fabric looks like table cloth...

Halo.. yes fabric can be use for any purpose.. u can use for table cloth wipe yr ass or pussy .. . up to u to use it . even designer have their own style or fashion... Do u read bloody fashion stuff?... If you think my fabric look like table cloth.. I am willing to sell u as well .. I do business with u .. selling u US$25 per mtr.. how many metres u want?

All above critic are base on my own opinion.. I will prove to my readers that I will do my very best so as to not disappoint my supporters and myself..

KL.. Ipoh.. Penang ..

After spending 3 nights in the capital city KL, we drove down to Ipoh .. and now we are going to our next destination Penang. Oh ya... It was so coincident that I saw my Aussie housemate Andrea (Malaysian) at Subang Parade, its really good to see him in gd spirits. He was there with his cousin.. as usual he is shopping..always.. haha.. How I wish I am rich like him. Full time Shopper!!

During our stop over at Ipoh for several hours, my dad when to his client place. His place reminds me of those super olden days of Singapore. It bring me back to those days when I was a little kid, those olden decoration dilapidated structures and obsolete fridge and chairs.. Well those people in Ipoh still dress back to those ages.. so is still kid of match with that environment... haha..
